It had been a while. Too long, really.
Did absence really make the heart grow fonder? She’d find out tonight, if her heart jumped extra high when Arthur walked into the room later tonight. Ally was currently in her apartment, madly brushing on enough make-up to look presentable and hide the hickeys she had sustained from the day’s work. It was moments like these that made her career choice so frustrating, and Ally couldn’t help but inwardly grumble at the dark purple bruises marring her otherwise perfect skin, given by a middle-aged business with commitment issues.
Turning to her closet, Ally found her pair of knee-high Louboutins and smiled, half-forgiving the same man seeing as he may not have given women attachment, but he didn’t have attachments to his money either. That was quite wonderful and quite in her favour. After the final touches were in place, Ally was out the door and en route to the nearest pub. The walk wasn’t quick, but it wasn’t long; enough time for Ally to inwardly reprimand herself for meeting with an Spettro thief again. But she’d been lonely, and Arthur really was good company. Very good company.
So the idea of talking, with drinks, was just as appealing now - as Ally stepped into the premises - as they had been when Arthur first suggested the meeting. Sitting down at the bar, in the only available seat next to a leering bald man, Ally ordered a martini and swished her foot back and forth, waiting for Arthur.
I don’t know. I Just really want to see you! Meet for a drink?
Well, I’m free now if you want to walk up to a pub or something?

Which is weird… For a call girl.

Can we talk?
Um, sure… About what?

I’m going to a party tonight and then sleeping over at my friends - AKA won’t be on tonight. After that we wake up at go camping for 2 days, so excuse my absence! I won’t have internet access, but I’ll be seeing y’all when I get back<3
When you tell me thirty minutes, I expect to be eating delicious greasy food in thirty minutes. Not waiting an extra fifteen.
